I have to stop reading you! Your last few blogs have forced me to have a good look at my lifestyle
and believe me it was really found wanting. I now go to the gym every day (except Saturday) and feel guilty if I can't go for some reason. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Very true Gerry. Auto-Pilot habits work both ways (good and bad) and it seems the "bad" auto-pilot habits are always easier to form.

I agree whole heartedly with this. Real, lasting change only happens when the auto-pilot reverses itself and starts doing healthy things automatically. I'm finding that is happening in my life right now (although I think I've got a few bad habits forming, too, like sitting too much)and it sure makes it easier to make healthy 'decisions'. This kind of research just reinforces what we already know - there's no easy fix.
